How long does the insurance supplement take?
The main supplement usually takes 21 to 30 days. Smaller items can be worked on as the job goes on.
Why are there several insurance checks?
Because supplements are approved in stages, you may get three or four checks. The last of the money is usually released after the job is finished and the certificate of completion goes to your adjuster.
My mortgage company is on the insurance check. What do I do?
Call your mortgage company right away, ask how they want the check sent, and send it the way they require. We recommend overnight delivery with tracking. They endorse it and send it back so it can be deposited.
What do I pay out of pocket on an insurance roof?
With a replacement cost value policy, usually your deductible, any rotted decking your insurer does not pay for, and any upgrades you choose. Your policy decides the rest. All of it can be financed with approved credit.
