Armor is our metal roof: a 26-gauge PBR steel panel system, Class A fire rated and rated for hail up to 2 inches. It is built for homeowners who want to stop thinking about their roof, with an expected life of 40 to 70 years compared with 15 to 20 for asphalt shingles in Arkansas.
A metal roof is only as good as what is under it. Armor is installed over full high-temp ice and water shield and premium synthetic underlayment, finished with a metal ridge system, color-matched metal drip edge and ventilation designed for metal, so heat and moisture leave the attic instead of condensing under the panels.
